In partnership with a local organization, this program aims to harness the natural mechanical talents of neurodiverse individuals and provide them with the skills needed to thrive in the automotive industry. Led by experienced professionals, this program will offer hands-on training and career opportunities in a supportive environment.
Inclusive Camping Experience
Astral Acres provides a welcoming and supportive environment for neurodiverse individuals to experience the joys of camping. Our program is designed to foster a deep connection with nature, offering participants the opportunity to pitch tents, explore the natural surroundings, and engage in activities that build confidence and independence. The serene setting encourages relaxation and self-discovery, making it an ideal retreat for those seeking solace and adventure.
Outdoor Living Skills for Neurodiverse Learners
Our Outdoor Living Skills Program is specifically tailored to teach essential skills to individuals with autism and other neurological differences. Participants will engage in hands-on activities such as building and maintaining a fire, collecting and chopping firewood, cooking on a stove, identifying and sourcing water, and purifying it for safe use. These experiences are designed to empower participants with practical knowledge, enhance problem-solving abilities, and promote a sense of accomplishment in a nurturing environment.
